I have been in hospital this time for 7 days. I can't eat or drink - only water. When I just came here I thought I might never be able to learn again. But the nurses told me there was a school room where I can learn. I have homework which I like doing and it always stops me from getting bored. Unfortunately I have not been able to make any friends because I'm not allowed to mix with other children, because I might get infected. I hope i get out of here soon and never come back in hospital again..... but the nurses, doctors and teachers here are my friends and I will miss everyone.
When I am i n hopital at Addenbrookes, I am given a bead of courage everytime I have a treatment. The beads come from South America. The beads are lots of different colours and they all have different meanings. The tortoise shell means I have been I have been in different hospitals and different wards. The apple means I have been in the school room. The apple is my favorite bead is the apple because I love school. The string has a name. It is called the string of strength. When I go home I can make a knot to make a necklace.
I am now top of The Leader Board in Tiominos :)
