On Monday night I found out I was coming to hospital . At ten oclock two people came to my bed and told me there was a school room . In my head I was saying " nooooooooo". I went to the school room and it was actully really fun . I made new friends , and had so much  fun playing triominos ( Its like dominoes ) , and realised school can be fun !!!!!!!!!!!.                                                                                                        

Face Britain

The Hospital Education Room is involved with 'Face Britain',  to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

 Face Britain wants every child in Britain to submit a self-portrait to form part of a record breaking mosaic.A snapshot of how young people see themselves.

We have had some fabulous ideas, discussion and art work created.These pictures are by Jordan and Katie.

In Hospital

I fell over and lost the feeling in my legs. I have been in hospital nearly 4 days and I have been to the hospital school room and worked on an art project called Face Britain, I have created a self portrait and made a video for you.

Hello my name is Dylan hughes I have recently broken my foot playing football and I ended up in NHS. I have joined the NHS school room. we have lots of fun we play games, draw pictures and go on the computer I have been asked by Judy and Cliare to write a blog.
My hobbies are playing football, ps3 and watching telivision.

My boredom and me

I have been in hospital for 3 and a half long weeks, and have only had my PS3 for 2 days, so before then I had to find other things to do to fill the massive time period where my PS3 used to be. These things included a lot of T.V, reading for the first time in months and annoying play specialists whilst no one else was looking. Then after an entire week of excuses and fake sleeping Claire and Judie finally managed to roll me into the School Room, against my will, but after a while I started to find that school work has become fun! I have even had fun writing this blog thing , and I didn't have a say in whether I would do this or not, but it helps pass the time and every little helps. 9 days and counting!
